- Leave for 10 to 20 minutes, and then wash off with water.
What this does is it allows the oatmeal to absorb the excess oil in your skin. The honey doesn't do anything with regards to removing oil, but is simply there to make the mixture sticky so that it will stick to your skin.
So as you can see, there really is no need to spend huge amount of money on expensive products to get rid of your acne. A simple oatmeal mask will work wonders to reduce your acne and heal your skin.

What are some good homemade face mask recipe's for acne?
I've had acne for years now and usually its not too bad unless I have a breakout. I've been having the worst breakout I've had in a long time. I usually use an oatmeal face mask and it works really well. The problem is, I can't get it to stick to my face. How do I make it stick? What are come good recipe's for acne?
