Whenever you're on the internet looking for a way to clear your acne, you're bound to see an advertisement for the Acne Free In 3 Days website! I'm sure you've seen the one I'm talking about...

But what exactly is this mysterious program? And does it really work to clear your skin?

Well I tried it and give my experience here...

I used to have severe acne, and so when I found the acne free in 3 days site I was excited by the possibility of clear skin in just 3 days! So I purchased the book, and started reading straight away. But I was instantly disappointed...

You see, the three day program is basically just a 3 day apple fast. Nothing but apples and water for 3 whole days! This was strange, but the theory was that it cleaned out the colon of toxins - the same toxins that cause acne. This would result in clear skin.

I was willing to give it a try, and waited until I had a spare 3 days to start.

When I did start, I didn't notice any results until the 3rd day, when my skin started to look clearer, and then on the 4th day having finished the program, my acne was completely gone - except for old marks. These faded away over the next few days too! I was delighted at this result. However...

...The results didn't last very long. After about 1 week my acne came back - as bad as ever. I was gutted. I re-read the book, and it stated that the fast has to be done once or twice every month to remain clear! This was not going to be practical for me, for 2 reasons:

1) The three day fast is very tiring, as it leaves you with no calories and no energy. I was housebound for the 3 days, and could not do this 6 days every month - I'm just too busy.

2) I lost weight doing the fast just once! To do it twice a month could be dangerous for me, as I'm slightly underweight as it is!
